Hielscher will be playing several selections, primarily from the 20th century, including “Gothic Fanfare” by Lester Groom, “How Great Thou Art” arranged by Dan Miller, and the “Suite for Organ” by Enrico Pasini. Next, Hielscher will set your feet tapping with “Three Dances for Organ” (a waltz, a tango, and a Charleston) by Andreas Willscher. Then you’ll be soothed as you hear the popular “Intermezzo Sinfonico” by Pietro Mascagni. The concert will conclude with an improvisation on “God Will Take Care of You” and Hielscher’s own variations on “Frère Jacques.”.
