CNET has contacted Apple about whether that's the case, and will update this post when we know more. Stock of the iPhone 5S has been scarce since the smartphone launched last week. The gold color option was particularly coveted, with back-order dates falling to October less than half an hour after sales began. All models are now listed as shipping in October at Apple's online store, while Apple's retail stores and carrier partners have gotten sporadic shipments since launch. The option to buy the iPhone 5S online and then pick it up at an Apple store was pulled soon after the device went on sale. Now that option is reportedly coming back.
Shortly after the iPhone 5S launched, customers had the option to reserve one through Apple's Web store or rose gold pineapple on black and white marble iphone case its store app, and pick it up later at one of the company's retail stores, But after just a day, Apple yanked away the option, That option is set to return next week though, says 9to5Mac, The iPhone maker plans to bring the option back as early as Monday, citing two sources familiar with Apple's plans, Be respectful, keep it civil and stay on topic, We delete comments that violate our policy, which we encourage you to read, Discussion threads can be closed at any time at our discretion..
The Gear sits on your wrist like any normal watch. It connects to your phone over Bluetooth in order to be able to show incoming calls and texts without forcing you to pull your phone out of your pocket every time it rings. In theory, it's a great idea but the Gear is far from perfect. First off, it's very expensive -- around £300 here in the UK -- and at launch it will only be able to connect with the Galaxy Note 3, and at £650 that's not cheap either. Samsung said it will update the watch to work with its Galaxy S4, S3 and Note 2, but if you have any other Android phone then you're out of luck.
While it's easy to take a call on the watch, it doesn't really let you do a whole lot else, There's no email support and with no ability to send and receive Tweets or Facebook updates, I'm not exactly sure where the name 'smart' comes from, It has a minimalist interface, with each tool given a separate screen, Although that makes it easy to see what you're looking at, it makes finding individual rose gold pineapple on black and white marble iphone case apps quite time consuming, which sort of defeats the point of having a 'quick-look' device on your wrist..
It's a shame that I'm not more excited as physically it's quite a good looking piece of kit and the concept of a fully-fledged smart watch is an idea I'm keen on. But fully-fledged this is not. With a lack of app support, not to mention the need to use a separate charging cradle every time it needs juice (once a day with heavy use) and a voice control system that can be hit and miss, the Galaxy Gear falls short of expectations. The Samsung Galaxy Gear connects to your phone over Bluetooth, letting you take phone calls and send texts without needing to fish your phone from your jeans, It's not what you'd call massive, and it sits comfortably on your wrist, There's a 1.9-megapixel camera tucked into the strap, Only a single button sits on the rose gold pineapple on black and white marble iphone case outside, It wakes the watch up and activates the S Voice voice control, The clasp is secure and easily adjustable, The black and silver colours look quite smart, It's not much bigger than a regular watch, and isn't unduly heavy, either..
It only pairs with the Galaxy Note 3 for now, although it will be updated to work with the Galaxy S4, S3, and Note 2. It's available in a range of colours if black doesn't suit. The watch clips easily into its charging caddy. The charging caddy is not a huge burden to carry, but it's easy to forget -- or lose -- and then there's not much you can do. The caddy also provides NFC functionality. If S Voice can't understand your contact's name, you can manually go into your contact list to find the person.
Most of your calling and texting will be done using the S rose gold pineapple on black and white marble iphone case Voice voice control software, The gallery icon sits in the middle of the panels, making it time consuming to scroll to, Images are fairly easy to see on the small screen, but you can tap on them to see the full-size version, The media controller is a handy way of pausing your music, but that's about all it can do -- you'll need to go back to your phone to change albums or artists, There's a built-in pedometer that syncs your steps back to the S Health app on the Note 3..
